Skiing and snowboarding
You can reach the ski areas Ekshärad o Säfsen in 35 minutes drive. Ekshärad is a little slope with 2 lifts and a cosy cabin where you can order tea and coffee. there starts also a number of cross country tracks in Eksharad.
Säfsen is a little bigger area with several lifts and 16 slopes. This area is perfect for beginners and families with children.There is a skirental and restaurant at the bottom of the slopes. At the top of the slopes you find a cosy cabin where you can have a break and grill your lunch over a fire.
