Example Programs for scout groups
Looking for an adventurous scouting program for your group? Paddle together to a deserted island and set up your own camp from scratch. Fill your days with canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, and other scouting activities, and end each day around the campfire with stories and good company. Teamwork, discovery, and having fun in nature are at the heart of it all!
Example Group Program
Scout Group – approx. 50 people, 1-week stay
Day 1
Arrival at Värmlandsgården and explanation about the canoe equipment. Afterwards, the group crosses the lake by canoe to Getön Island, where the camp is set up and the adventure begins.
Days 2–6
Stay on Getön Island. During the week, various activities are possible, such as the Värmlandsgården hike (13 km) and mountain biking in smaller groups.
There is also the possibility to do a self-guided two-day canoe trip with overnight stay, also in smaller groups – a true nature experience.
Day 7
The camp is taken down and the group returns by canoe to the mainland. After returning the equipment, the journey home begins, full of memories from an unforgettable week.
