About the Gustavsfors family canoe tour:
This tour is very easy going and excellent for families with children and beginners. You will pass two large lakes with fantastic views and cross a beautiful winding river. The tour also takes you past several uninhabited islands where you can set up camp. With some luck you can spot deer, crane birds or other wildlife along the way. How fast you go is up to you. The trip is perfectly achievable in 2 days. However, if you want to enjoy the unspoiled nature a little longer, you can also make it 3 days. In both cases, there is plenty of time along the way to swim, fish, make a fire, grill, and explore the uninhabited islands and riverbanks.
At the starting day you will be brought to the startingpoint in Gustavsfors. From Gustavsfors you paddel southwards over an idyllic river and several big lakes back to Värmlandsgården. You decide how long you make the trip, 2 or 3 days. When you make the booking, you choose the number of days that suits you best.

Instructions about the equipment and route: The day before departure or on day 1
Day 1: Start tour between 11.00 and 12.00 incl transport till Gustavsfors
Day 1-2/3: Your adventure through the Swedish nature
Last day: End of the tour, arrival at Värmlandsgården at latest 16:00.
