Sauna visit
Sweden is well known for its cold baths and sauna traditions. The sauna at Värmslandsgården directly near the water can accommodate 4 people when seated or 2 people when lying down and can be booked in summer and winter time. To complete the experience go for a cold bath in the lake or dip into the snow before or after.
It takes a while for the sauna to warm up for use, so book in time. Outside the high season, from October 1 to May 1, book at least 1 day in advance.
