2 days trip for families with children or non-experienced campers. The tour starts at Värmlandsgården and ends at Värmlandsgården.
For families with children, we offer the option to add extra seats to the canoe, so everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
For safety and enjoyment, we recommend that children up to around 10 years old (depending on their length) share a canoe with adults.

About the "Domherren" canoe tour:
This two-day tour is of a very easy level and intended for families or persons without camping experience who want to experience a canoe trip with a bit of ´luxery´. During this tour you decide the pace and distance yourself. You paddle over two connected lakes around Värmlandgården so you are always close to ‘home’. With some luck you can spot deer, crane birds or other wildlife along the way. How fast you go and how far you go is up to you. Along the way you can take the time to swim, fish, make a fire and explore uninhabited islands and riverbanks.
You will stay overnight in the beautifully located, simple stuga ´Domherren´, on the shore of Lake Deglunden. It offers the feeling of wild camping, but with a touch of comfort. For a stay in this wonderfully situated stuga, all you need to bring is your sleeping bag and cooking equipment.

Instructions about the equipment and route: The day before departure or on day 1
Day 1: Start tour between 09.00 and 14.00 from Värmlandsgården
Day 2: On the second day we expect you back at Värmlandsgården before 16.00
