About the Southern Bergslag canoe tour:
This tour is suitable for everyone. Both for beginners and families as for the experienced canoeist who want to enjoy the untouched nature of Sweden in a relaxed way. You paddle across beautiful lakes and meandering rivers through Sweden's forested landscape. The tour takes you along many uninhabited islands where you can set up camp. Plus, on this tour there are several camping places that are equipped with a small shelter and/or dry toilet.
The tour starts and ends in Sundsjön. Via several small lakes and meandering rivers, you arrive at the Svartälven River. You follow this slow-flowing idyllic river for a while, after which the route turns west towards Lesjöfors and then Rämmen, from where you paddle back to Sundsjön. With some luck you can spot beavers or other wild animals during this trip. The 7-day trip is based on an easy paddling pace with plenty of room to swim, fish, make a fire and explore the many uninhabited islands and riverbanks.

Land transports: 14 land transports, the shortest is 50 meters and the longest 2 kilometer.

Day 1-6: Your adventure through the Swedish wilderness
Day 6: 16.00 End of the tour, transfer from the finish (Sundsjön) to Värmlandsgården
- For the Svartälven River a nature pass is mandatory. This contribution takes care of maintenance along the river, such as the construction and maintenance of shelters, fire places and toilet facilities. This pass is included in het price. The 6 day trip is based on a easy paddling pace with room for relaxation and exploring. If you want to shorten or lenghten the trip, please contact us.
